Eggo wanted to piggy-back off of the momentum of the wildly popular Netflix series, "Stranger Things". It had to be done fast and cheap, so we plastered freezer aisles across America, starting with small towns in Indiana. Footage of the theft was also released on social media. The waffles were even redesigned to have an upside-down.
